Body & Design

The phone measures approximately 171.9 mm in height, 77.8 mm in width and about 8.2 mm thick in some markets. It weighs around 204 to 211 grams depending on the colour or back-material variant.
Build materials include a glass front, plastic frame and either a glass or “eco leather” back in certain colour versions. Available colour options include Midnight Black, Sage Green, Dreamy Purple and Starry Blue.
Design features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a punch-hole front camera, and minimal bezels for a modern look.

Display

The device features a 6.88-inch IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, providing smoother animations and scrolling compared to typical budget-models. Its resolution is 720 × 1640 pixels, which yields a pixel density around ~260 ppi.
The brightness is listed at approximately 450 nits (typical) and up to 600 nits at peak/HBM in some markets. The screen-to-body ratio is roughly ~84% depending on variant.

Performance (Hardware & Software)

Under the hood the Redmi 14C uses the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset built on a 12 nm process. The CPU configuration consists of 2× Cortex-A75 cores (up to ~2.0 GHz) and 6× Cortex-A55 cores (up to ~1.8 GHz). The GPU is a Mali-G52 MC2.
With 8 GB of RAM paired with 256 GB of storage, the phone is well-equipped for everyday tasks, moderate multitasking, streaming and social media. Storage uses eMMC technology.
The phone runs Android 14 out of the box, layered with HyperOS, which adds custom features and optimisations.

Memory & Storage

This particular variant includes 256 GB of internal storage, giving ample space for apps, media, photos and videos. The phone also supports a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion in many markets, meaning you don’t have to sacrifice one SIM slot for extra memory in dual-SIM setups.

Camera System

On the rear the Redmi 14C features a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8, wide) with PDAF, backed by a 2 megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4) and a very small auxiliary lens (listed as 0.08 MP) in some markets. Photo features include HDR, panorama, night mode and a 50 MP mode. The rear camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps.
For selfies, the front camera is a 13-megapixel sensor (f/2.0) which supports HDR and 1080p video at 30 fps.
While the camera system is basic relative to flagship phones, it offers solid value in this segment.

Battery & Charging

The Redmi 14C houses a 5,160 mAh (typical) non-removable battery, which is generous for its class. Charging is supported via USB-C with 18 W wired fast charging in many markets.
Its battery size and moderate resolution/display refresh rate combination lead to good endurance in typical real-world use.

Connectivity & Features

The phone supports dual Nano-SIM cards (dual-standby). Network support is up to 4G LTE in most markets (no confirmed 5G).
Other connectivity includes WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band in some markets), Bluetooth (version 5.x/5.4 depending on variant), GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Some variants may include NFC depending on region.
Sensors include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, accelerometer, compass and virtual proximity sensing.
Audio is by a single bottom-firing speaker plus the headphone jack for wired audio.
